Lee-lai Natural Skincare is a line of urban apothecary goods that help find purity and balance in the city with clean, non-toxic, and effective herbal formulations. We focus on detoxification, replenishment, and inner calm for beautiful city skin.
Urban life is a breeding ground for creativity and cultural experiences. But unfortunately it can also be a breeding ground for environmentally damaged skin. High exposure to pollutants cause free radicals to do a number on our complexion. Environmental damage can cause wrinkles, sun spots, and aggrevate skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, and rosacea. Not to mention added stress in our daily lives. Demanding jobs, crowded commutes, and social temptations are just a part of the package and maybe even the charm. We embrace the bad with the good because hey we love our lives! But our skin needs a little extra help staying amazing.
Our Skincare focuses on the 3 steps to perfect city skin:
1) Detoxify environmental pollutants
2) Replenish lost nutrients
3) Calm the inner senses
Our products contain deeply detoxifying ingredients such as rose hip, charcoal, and rich berry oils. Replenishing pumpkin and sea buckthorn replace vitamins and minerals such as A, C, E, K, and Zinc. And our essential oil blends unfrazzle and decompress built up stress.
And of course our herbal formulations are all natural and contain organically grown and wild-crafted ingredients. Each component has a purpose and a mission. Most of our products are waterless for full potency and to avoid the need for preservatives. Our water-based products contain a naturally derived ECOCERT approved preservative for organic formulations. Our glass containers are non-leaching and are recyclable and reusable.

The line was created in Brooklyn, NY by Cyan Bonacci, a lover of herbs, botanicals, and all things organic. She was inspired by the city's inhabitants to create products that fit their needs.
